Grandma and Grandpa Andrews re-roofed their house last fall, so for Christmas Kent and I decided to build them a new Cupola. I was sure we could do it. I just didn't know we wouldn't finish it until this spring. We delivered it on Father's Day. I can't wait to see it on top of the porch! I also can't wait to build one for my house! Cupola anyone?

Maine
Every year we pack up our minivan and make the five hour journey north, to a land most of the country has forgotten, Acadia National Park, Maine.
We are so very, very lucky, my Husbands Grandparents bought this camp fifty years ago. It is located on the most beautiful Lake called Branch Pond!
Here we play games on the porch, read our latest books and spend quality time as a family!
We shower outside in the great outdoors which has become one of our favorite parts!
We can sit back and enjoy the sweeping views of the Lake! We Love swimming , fishing, paddle boating and exploring all around this place!
and when we've had our fill of the Lake. we head over to Acadia to explore New England the way our ancestors found it. Not bustling with buildings and cars and people but simple and clean. The way God created it!
My children love this little piece of heaven and I love to bring them here to explore. So till next year goodbye Lake we miss you!

Happy Independence Day!
Every year we go to the 4th of July parade in Cumberland, Rhode Island! This year Uncle Matt got to our favorite spot early and saved us a seat!
Thanks Uncle Matt!

I love the people who dress up in these old fashioned clothes!
Yankee doodle went to town!
This bike was cool!
The boys liked the tractors!
It's a great parade and the kids had lots of fun! Plus they hand out a lot of candy and someone always passes out icepops! yum!

Here come the minutemen!
Those guns were loud!
